Point it at the folder you've already got. It reads the filenames, figures out what each game is and grabs the cover art. You don't need to rename anything or reorganise your folders.

Zipped games, multi-disc games, romhacks, fan translations, three regions of the same game — all fine. Romhacks sit behind the original so they don't clutter things up. If it gets one wrong, fix it in a couple of clicks and it stays fixed.

Yep, just as they are. RetroArch saves, memory cards, old DexDrive and GameShark dumps, PlayStation and DS exports — no converting needed.

YendleBox only ever reads your saves. It never writes to them. It keeps backups in case you want an old one back, and if a backup or sync comes in mid-game, it waits until you're done. Save states aren't touched at all.

It reads the number the game saved. Super Mario World counts exits, Mario Kart counts cups, Suikoden counts recruits. That's what you see, not hours played.

It works for 314 games right now, and we add more most weeks. If a game isn't on the list, you'll see nothing instead of a guess. So if there's a number, it's real.

Nope. RetroArch is the easiest place to start, but PCSX2, DuckStation, Dolphin, RPCS3 and the rest all work. Point YendleBox at it once and keep your settings. Got one game that runs better elsewhere? Give it its own emulator.

No. Run one installer, point it at your games, done. No command line, no setup first.

Streaming is for playing your games in another room. It uses Sunshine and Moonlight (both free), and YendleBox is already set up for them. Lag isn't really a thing here, so play whatever you like.

Retro Lobby is for the friend who isn't round yours and won't install anything. They click a link and they're player two. Expect around 110ms, about seven frames. Great for Mario Kart, Bomberman and Mario Party. Not great for fighting games or tricky platformers. For frame-perfect remote play, use Moonlight. Retro Lobby is the one where your friend installs nothing.

No, and it's worth knowing that up front. YendleBox shares your library on your home network so the phone remote, the marquee, Retro Lobby and the Android app can reach it. That means anyone on your Wi-Fi can browse and launch games.

Don't like that? Switch it to "this PC only" in Settings, which turns those four off. You can also lock Settings with a PIN so guests can play but can't change anything. It's made for your home network, so please don't open it to the internet.

They open the real service in its own window. If Microsoft, Sony or Nvidia redesign their site, one might break until we update it. YendleBox will tell you when that happens, so you know it's not your setup. Your own library keeps working either way.

Nothing, unless you turn on cloud saves. There's no YendleBox server to upload to.

If you do, it uses your own Google Drive and can only see the files it made. It can't delete anything, so a bad sync can't eat a save.

Yes. It brings over your favourites and the games you've finished, the two things a rescan can't get back. If it's unsure about something, it leaves it alone, and it shows you every change before it makes it.

Got a LaunchBox artwork folder? It uses that first, since it's already on your disk.

Yes. Pack up to ten games onto your phone and they run in real RetroArch, so RetroAchievements (hardcore too) count just like at home. Your PC can stay off while you play.

The part that usually goes wrong is getting the save back. So when a device finishes, it says what it uploaded, and that game stays locked everywhere else until the save arrives. You can't start playing on top of a save that's still on its way. If it never shows up, YendleBox tells you which device played last instead of picking for you.

An older copy won't roll you back either. Every sync checks which file is newer, not just whether they're different. Different doesn't mean newer.

Because there's nothing to charge you for. YendleBox runs on your PC and nowhere else. No server, no accounts, no store. The stuff that costs other launchers money to run just doesn't exist here, so there's no bill to pass on.

The optional extras use your accounts, not ours: your RetroAchievements login, your Steam key, your Google Drive. Nothing goes through us, because there's no "us" in the middle.

So there's no free tier waiting to turn into a paid one. There are no tiers, full stop.

No. YendleBox doesn't include, supply or help you find games. It organises and launches what's already on your PC: your ROM folder, plus your Steam, Epic and GOG libraries.

Where your games came from is your business. It stays between you and your hard drive.
